Gorgeous!

The quality is superb. It feels and look luxurious and the size is perfect. This doesn’t speak to the quality in any way (this thing is a beauty), but for my intended use I did have one hiccup. I journal with my Dingbats notebook and am insistent on using fountain pens for journaling. It does work, but the writing is significantly lightened, and seems to almost thin out. The paper is advertised as being thicker, and is, by a lot! When trying to use fountain pens it seemed almost waxy. This is apparently designed with mixed media in mind. Given that, the coating makes sense. With normal pens, that was not problematic. I tried several different inks and pens (Beiluner with Diamine Writer’s Blood was the most successful, just in case you were wondering) and ended up with the same result, as far as fountain pens. Again, my normal pens worked perfect on it - so it most certainly can be used for writing. If it weren’t for my weird insistence on fountain pens, this would be great for that purpose. I had bought 2 because I am Dingbats obsessed - and just look at this thing! - and am sad that it won’t work for it’s intended purpose. They will find use. I’m giving one to my daughter (she uses many different things for art, so it will be perfect for her). She absolutely loves it - I know this because I can’t keep a present a secret to save my life, and I have already shown it to her. I love the earth journals (and every other thing they have), so I will just stick with those for journaling.

Amazing

Simply amazing notebooks. Looking forward to try their pens as well.
And have ordered more notebooks because they simply make me more efficient in writing as one just wish to hold Dingbats tight :-)

Dingbats* Bee Notebook

Love everything about this notebook from the bee design to the inside pages. The paper can handle the ink really well + I love how the notebook can flatlay.

Beautiful journal

This is a lovely, well made journal that handles ink and acrylic pens very well. I am four pages in with many more to go.
