From our signature collection. Each notebook has a hardcover bound with PU leather (100% vegan) with a deer finely debossed on the cover. Printed on the inside cover of the notebook are deer footprints that are so cute, you just want to tickle them.
Our paper? Well, we are the oldest established paper company in Lebanon and the region, we know a thing or two about paper. Each page of 100gsm silk cream acid free fountain-friendly FSC-certified paper is micro-perforated with a total of 96 sheets or 192 pages. And our notebooks open as flat as a pancake.
The paper used is acid-free, a depiction of longevity, archive-ability and preservation.
Yes, yes, of course they have an inner pocket, bookmark and an elastic closure! Oh, almost forgot to mention the pen holder, just perfect.

I started bullet journalling this year, and I'm so happy I came across the Dingbats journals instead of getting the Leuchtturm 1917 or the Moleskin Books. Those books are less than 90 gsm, which means any color or calligraphy brushes would leak through. My stag Dingbats journal, with its 100 gsm pages, has never bled through. Each page looks as new as if there was not a whole bunch of colors on the other side. I use crayola super tips and Tombow Pastel Watercolor Pens, so both of them carry a lot of ink with each stroke. I've never had any trouble with the Dingbats. The environmental-conscious production of this notebook is a huge plus for me! I'm already excited for the next year to purchase another journal from them!
I love the synthetic leather and cream pages. It adds an authentic feel to the journal. The paper is so good. Thick enough for my pilot pens not to bleed through, and the pen holder is a great part of it. I’ve never had a journal with a pen holder before. I absolutely love the deer. I’m from Russia and up north near the arctic the reindeer is a popular symbol.
Cons: I am always afraid the perforated pages will tear out if I’m not careful. But I knew what I was getting when I bought it.
And the dot grid is placed really close together, which makes it so I have to write so small.
Everyone is picky about something, but you do the best you can with it and can’t please everyone. And you have done the best you can. All in all I love this journal!
Question: if I got a larger sized journal, would the grid box sizes be bigger?
This notebook is such good quality as a sketchbook or for bullet journaling! There's no bleeding, and the notebook nicely lays flat. The vegan leather of the notebook feels really nice & durable, would purchase another notebook from Dingbats!
I loved my new journal, the cover is very nice and so are the pages. I love the pages and the pocket in the back. Very good, five stars
Not only are these notebooks sustainable and nature friendly but they have practical applications that are awesome as well. Like the pen loop that for most notebooks you have to buy separately and the fact that the notebook opens flush, this allows for artists to not worry about fitting their pieces on one side of the page. I absolutely love these notebooks and I won’t go back to any other kind.
