My great great grandfather established one of the first paper shops in Lebanon in the early 19th century, trading high-quality paper more or less continuously from then until the present day. I want to continue this legacy where I passionately believe that there's still a place for this most traditional of materials in today's high speed, digital world.Read More
Dingbats* Ātopen 6-Pack Dual Tip Fineliner/Brush Pens - Trend
The new colors are just perfect for summer - and I'm anticipating for fall and October months too. They write so smoothly and don't bleed through. They can be used as watercolors too! They're perfect for my journals. 🥰
I’m so glad that wolves are being honoured. I hope you introduce other canines. The A5 book is lovely. I do hope, however, that you will introduce, perhaps, coyotes on a smaller notebook: one that is lighter for one’s pocket or purse perhaps in a burgundy colour. Thank you and keep up the good work. God bless, Corinne B. MacLennan-Kennedy
I use Dingbats for a variety of uses and reasons : bullet journaling, sketchbook and small ink drawings, homemade ink testing and documenting, as well as other journaling needs. The paper quality, and overall quality, is great for my needs. I found Dingbats when searching for a vegan journal. Not only are they vegan but all around earth/eco friendly. It’s a company dedicated to the preservation of our beautiful earth and all inhabitants. The quality was a great bonus on top of all that.
I got this notebook for my various doodles and design ideas. Paper quality and binding is excellent. If you end up doodling in your bujos, I heavily recommend this one. Great size; though I also love the smaller A5 that Dingbats put out.
I use two of these notebooks every year for work and rotate through the colors. I absolutely love the paper, the bookmarks, and the fact sheets inside are an added bonus. I’ll keep getting those as long as I work this job!
The Dingbats A4+ Wildlife Grey Elephant notebook thoroughly impressed me with its quality of paper and the overall structural integrety! I usually record data/information with a 0.38 rollerball pen and there has been no skipping or uneven resistence while I'm writing. I am also partial to the hardcover because it allows me to write while I have it on my lap!
Thank you for this wonderful notebook!
After I went through all of the Earth collection, (I loved them all except the colour of the orange one- but that's a personal preference!) I was a little sad because I wasn't sure how I felt about the faux leather texture of the Wildlife collection. I was afraid that it was going to be too gaudy and too.."leathery", which, as a vegan, felt a bit hypocritical and uncomfortable haha. Buuuut- after I received this black duck notebook, I can safely say that I am absolutely in love with this notebook! The texture is actually very classy. The cover is much thicker than the Earth collection, and it makes the notebook feel a lot more durable. The book feels very sturdy in my hand and I love that it doesn't feel "disposable". Also, I really appreciate that the paper is not stark white nor a dark yellow, but a lovely shade of light ivory. Not having extra pages like index and such in the front of the book is a huge plus for me as well :) Overall, a very happy camper here, and I'm already excited to try out the other colours from the Wildlife collection next year!
Let me start by saying that the elegant leather cover embossed with Hippo design feels so soft and is every durable. Love the paper quality! There is no ghosting or bleeding when using a pen. Not to mention the micro-perforated pages that allow easy removal from the notebook for scanning, filing. It has a lots of little cool tweaks like the small pocket at the end of the notebook which can come in handy. All in all, GREAT notebook with a convenient price.
Taking notes was never as fun !
I have used Dingbat notebooks for several years now. They are by far the best quality paper, covers and bindings for any notebook I have used - and I have used them all - VELA, Bookfactory, Scientific Notebook Company, National, Oxford, Boorun & Pease, and many more. The paper is durable but easy to write on - very smooth writing, handles both pencil and pen well - and doesn't bleed through. The color is easy on your eyes AND you can take the pages out via a perforated left edge. The only thing I wish is that they made more or the A4+ notebooks. Can't love them enough!
Beautiful journal. The paper is so smooth. Perfect for my needs.
the quality is great, and I feel better knowing that the company is trying to be environmentally conscious/careful
These notebooks are the best! The paper is great (my papermate pens and tombow markers don’t bleed through) and wonderful quality. I buy at least one every year!
Great quality! Love these notebooks.
I spent a ton of time reading reviews and weigh pros and cons for my first Bullett Journal and ultimately chose dingbats. I’m very satisfied. The paper is fantastic for fountain pens with no spread or feathering. On par with clairfintaine. It feels much more natural (less plasticity) than Rhodia, which I like. It’s not as high sheen as Tome River paper but it does sheen some. I think 100 GSM is the sweet spot for bujo - minimal ghosting without adding too much bulk. The overall construction feels solid. My only complaint is I wish they made this version with numbered pages and without the perforations like their other version, but without all the extra design stuff.
